Our Snakes and Skulls Kickstarter is FUNDED! Thanks to all of you. Now as we push on to as many stretch goals as we can reach, some fun facts for you. This is our 8th kickstarter campaign and we funded more quickly than we ever have. We funded in six days, beating our previous record of seven during the Eclipse Sisterhood campaign. Only one day doesn’t sound like much, but it’s actually a bigger deal than it sounds.  This time we do not have the big ticket Sponsored Model rewards we did then.  That program proved so popular, we made it year round and disconnected it from kickstarters. 

This gives us two full weeks to reach as many stretch goals as possible. How many? Trust me when I challenge you that you can’t run us out of stretch goals. J So, now that we are funded, its all about getting more people to join us. Each stretch goal met puts another model in your box without you having to commit another penny. Two ways you can help us help you get more models. One, you can reach out to all the gamers and painters and modelers you know. Take S+S kickstarter images off of our facebook, twitter, Instagram and get them out into the spaces in which you communicate with fellow hobbyists. Two, help us convert those unconverted followers. Right now, about 260 of you and your fellows are following the kickstarter but have not yet pledged. That’s totally fine, and historically many of those folks convert once they start getting their 48 hour reminder, which provides that harrowing surge at the end. But the more who convert early, the higher the start point of the surge and the more visibility we get on kickstarter trackers, which often use percent funded as a parameter for how high up you appear on their lists. Know someone on the fence? Tease them over with all the good things about Freeblades and Faelon…a living rulebook, customer support, gamer involvement in the world, an epic dice mechanic and an original and growing IP.

Ok, we are funded!  Thank you for being amazing.  We have a ton of stretch goals planned, the first 6 of which are the Kandoran Deathmasters starter set.  The 7th strtech is the next Shakrim...  want to see more stretches posted?  let's knock out this first one...

Remember! Anyone who pledges to at least the $40 level by 11am CST on Tuesday January 8 will get their choice of Special Item Artifact Cards, the Durzakul or the Crescent Moon. Anyone who pledges to at least the $120 level by that time will get both! Remember too, anyone who pledges at least $40 will get a free Freeblades Living Rulebook at the end of the campaign and everyone who pledges at least $120 will get all the stretch goals met for free. Thanks to those who have pledged already and for everyone else, time to commit!

If we fund it is the six models of the Shakrim Wavestalkers starter set that we will make for you. But let’s not stop there. Once we fund, it will be time to bring you the Kandoran Deathmasters. 

Stretch goals can be taken as individual add-ons, but a total pledge in any combination of $120 or more gets you all stretch goals we reach, no matter how many that is.  

Stretch Goal 1: The Krayech's Reaper

The Reaper is a bound undead, raised and compelled to serve the Jackal-Priests of Kandor. In life, the Reaper served as a Kandoran heavy infantryman. In death, he is an even more implacable foe, heavily armored, well-armed and very hard to kill…again.  Sculpted by Andrew May.

Stretch Goal 2: The Oppressor

The Oppressor is a slaver, plain and simple. While he will take on other tasks, what he normally gets asked to do is go get more labor for the Khan. He is completely without scruple and does not care whom he works for or with. Which is useful, as often the creatures he works with are not even alive.  Sculpted by Andrew May.

Stretch Goal 3: The Jackal Priest

The Jackal Priests are the core and expression of the Kandoran religion. The worship of Krayech is not the worship of a willing death, but of the usefulness of unlife. They are the most well known and numerous of the world’s necromancers and they hunger for ever more knowledge of this blackest of arts.  Sculpted by Andrew May.

It would be easier to get to all the stretches we want to get to if we funded in the first week. So, we looked for a way to reward those who jump in early and we found one.
